Fit Thursday: Why I don't run

Why I don't run

Many people will tell me: "Go for a run, you'll feel so much better''. Well let me tell you this.... I tried to run once and I didn't get the same high as most people do. Instead it makes me feel faint, red in the face, out of breath and sick to my stomach. If running is not your thing but you are looking for other cardio workouts that  will also clear your head. Try anyone of these:

  • High intensity interval training
  • Kickboxing
  • Walking
  • Zumba or other dancing
  • Spin class or cycling
  • Swimming
Try to mix things up as well. I have never gotten an injury from exercising. And that's because I am continuously doing something different each day. Even the workout programs I am reviewing have this same mentality.
